Dual-credit courses to be offered

Kilgore College will offer four classes in the evenings at Gilmer High School for the Spring Semester.

The courses are open to eligible area high school Juniors and Seniors for dual credit as well as to interested community members.

Classes will begin the week of Jan. 12 and end the week of May 4. The cost for high school students is $150 per course plus textbook costs. Regular tuition applies to adults which is $279 per course plus textbook costs.

The Spring course offerings on Monday evenings (6-8:50) are ENGL 1302.87 (English Composition 2) and ARTS 1301.87 (Art Appreciation). Course offerings on Wednesday evenings (6-8:50) are GOVT 2306.87 (State and Local Government) and HIST 1302.87 (United States History since 1877).

Early registration begins Nov. 10 for current/former students and Nov. 17 for new students. Payment deadline for early registration is Dec. 4.
